SNAP (Service Now At Princeton) is the university’s ticket system. The default notifications can be quite overwhelming.
To reduce the notifications to just the relevant ones:
- Go to My Notification Preferences on the left sidebar
- On the catalog task tab, turn off “Catalog task assigned to group”
- On the intake tab, turn off “Intake assigned to group”
- On the incident tab, turn off “Incident assigned to group” and “Incident created”
- On the incident task tab, turn off everything except “Incident task assigned to you”
